Arrived on a Thursday at 7 20 AM, had 25 people in line ahead of me. The staff was courteous and assisted with obtaining a token immediately. Had to fill up the application and wait for about an hour, and was done in another 20 minutes after getting to the booth. The process was systematic and smooth. Was out by 9 15 AM.
It is given that any DPS will have this long line unless people use the online services and improvement in the use of technology is provided and effeciently used by people.
I see some shortage in staff but the reason I am giving this a 4 star is because the staffs knows how it feels to wait. I arrived around 9:20 am and the gentleman was able to go through my papers around 1:30 pm. He was very friendly and took time to help us understand the process since we need to go through 2nd verification. You can see that most of the staff are busy and doing the routine process all the time but they try to make us convenient.
Absolutely lovely staff. Very organized. With the Real ID rule it's tough to handle so many people coming in for their new driving license. My suggestion will be to come in will early in the morning around 6.10 am.. you have to wait till the center opens around 7.30 am but you will be out of there within 15 mins. This will be the best approach than coming in during the day time and waiting for at least 2 to 3 hrs before you head back home/work.
I had Mrs. Latoya G. Help me today with a drivers licence application. She was so fast and efficient helpful and kind with a warm inviting smile it is a pleasure to have people greet you with this kind of attitude. The office itself seemed very well ran very systematic which works great for them they are efficient in Timely I wasn't there very long. Go prepared and you will get through this with no problems. And remember it's those that come unprepared that take up the time and space needed for efficient process
Despite a very lengthy wait where the line wrapped along the outside of the building, the staff is extremely helpful and well-organized today considering the ticket-numbering system is down. The staff is coordinating with each other like a well-oiled machine creating order where there would likely have been complete chaos otherwise. This really is impressive to see how well they are working together all the while providing excellent customer service.
