I found Aaron through some great articles he had in the Denton Record Chronicle newspaper. After a while of reading his articles and following him on various social media sites, I can’t think of anyone else who is as in tune with the market, specifically in Denton County/ DFW, than Aaron. When the time came to purchase my first home, Aaron was the natural choice so I reached out to him first. I got my pre approval to start looking over a year ago now and what a ride it has been since that time in many ways. Aaron patiently stuck with me through many discussions, tours, offers, and now finally closing on a home and I could not be more grateful for all his help and guidance. He did an excellent job attending to my needs as a buyer, and offered valuable insight many times along the way. Aaron treated me with respect and never tried to force me into anything I didn’t want. He understood the way I wanted to handle my search and purchase very well and his experience level was obvious in interacting with him. I can now say that I got EXACTLY the right impression of Aaron from his articles. Intelligent, deliberate, organized, dedicated, and in-tune are all how I would describe him. If you are looking for someone who is going to put you first as a buyer or a seller and who is not just there for a commission, Aaron is your guy. It was an honor and a pleasure to work with him.
I have not bought or sold a home through Aaron, but I have enjoyed his Denton Record-Chronicle articles for several years now. I was fortunate enough to buy my house before the current bubble, and I feel for those having to navigate the market of the past few years.
Aaron has been one of the few voices of reason I have seen throughout this bubble. He was advocating for the consumer even back in 2019, and his writing is informed yet accessible to the Layman (sorry, had to throw that pun in!). It's refreshing and inspiring to see someone concerned about the health of the market and not just their own wallet.
I have a wonderful realtor who maintains a strong business relationship. But if I didn't have her and had to find a new one, I would be in touch with Aaron asap just based on the ethics he displays in his articles. The housing market needs more of that.
Aaron sold a house for us. He did a great job in accurately assessing the value and in rightly suggesting the asked price. The house was taken in a week. He is an expert and is professional. I strongly recommend him if you are looking for an agent.
Aaron is by far the best realtor I have ever worked with! He is very knowledgeable of the market and was able to answer any of our questions. He was very easy to work with and always made sure to keep us updated throughout the process. Aaron sold our house for a significant amount above asking.
I cannot recommend him highly enough! His skillset, professionalism, and and honesty is a rare find.
As first time home renters in DFW, using Aaron Layman Properties was a major asset. He was patient with us as we outlined what we were looking for. His website was easy to use and a good way to keep track of homes we liked and wanted to see. We spent several weekends going through various houses trying to find the right one for us. Aaron would point out things that he saw and give his honest opinion about certain things that he saw. We finally found what we wanted and he moved quickly to get the deal done. Overall, it was a great experience and we are very happy with where we ended up in Dallas Fort Worth.
