I reached out to Denton County Veterans Coalition to see if they could help in any way. Chris Martin and Heather Ball responded to me and rallied around their own, and got my friends most loved friend, out of the shelter, and on his way to a loving home to heal. I cannot thank them enough. They were angels here on earth, and I couldn’t be more relieved that my friends life is being honored, beginning with taking good care of his pup. “I went to this new office by mistake but I was pleasantly impressed. There was plenty of parking available, and although the office was chaotic there seemed to be some sensible organization. Apparently you can't register until 30 mins. prior to your appointment (if you have one.) This is done by scanning a barcode usually received in an appointment confirmation email, then you wait. I was able to find out I was in the wrong building very quickly by an extremely helpful member of security. Not a bad experience at all.”

“Took a family trip down to Ensénada to celebrate Memorial Day and also as an early birthday trip for myself. Never been to a brewery in Mexico, so here was my chance to make it happen. This was the first stop on our adulting tour and we were delighted by the experience. The staff was friendly and attentive. I was able to sample a few beers before making my selection on a tall glass. All the staff was masked up and kept a solid distance to meet Covid-19 guidelines for the venue. The location has great views of the wine valley and several spots for a photo opt or two. Definitely will come back again.”

No heaviness. They answered questions with the knowledge they had. They helped as much as they could. They were chilling if you asked me. So to anyone new who has to visit this entity please don’t be alarmed, worried, or have your guards up as I did, go in with an open mind and open heart.
