North Texas Fibroids

Dr Handley and crew did a great job. Sometimes we don't have information on other best options we can go for without doing research. My Obgyn sent to the right place and I was fully educated on my options.
They are the best. Glen was very supportive during recovery and took great care of me. He made me laugh.

I went to visit Dr. Handley's office after I complained to my OB/GYN of having prolonged periods that were very irregular. An ultrasound showed I had uterine fibroids and she was quick to recommend I have a hysterectomy performed. I am only 39 years old and was in shock to hear that was the option she was providing me. I did my own research online and found out about Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE) and Dr. Handley was one of the first names that popped up in my research. I quickly made an appointment and met with him. Prior to my appointment with him, I did not know what route I was going to pursue, or simply what I was going to do. However, while talking to him during my initial consultation, I quickly realized that UFE was the path I would take. He provided information and answered all my questions. He was very easy to talk to. They had an opening that week (within 3 days of my visit) and I had my procedure done 7/23/21. Everyone on his staff was amazing from beginning to end. The day of my procedure, everything was done by the book and I felt totally comfortable with the process. Glen was amazing at explaining every detail to myself and my husband. Dr. Handley provided his personal mobile number to us in case we had any problems or questions while recovering at home. The recovery was exactly as they had explained. After a few days, I was feeling normal and as if nothing had happened. I completely and 100% recommend Dr. Handley and his staff. If you are undecided about what route to take with your uterine fibroids, I highly recommend you at least make an appointment with Dr. Handley. His experience speaks for itself.

Couldn't be more pleased with the level of care and expertise the entire staff has shown. I traveled from Corpus Christi to have ufe done and from start to finish they were all exceptional definitely worth the drive! Dr. Handley was very thorough and answered any questions in depth in no point did I feel as if he was trying to rush off the phone during any of the multiple phone conversations. Upon arriving I was nervous but the staff were so friendly and welcoming that they definitely put my mind at ease and made my stay more than I could have hoped for. Very clean and friendly environment. Dr. Handley is very knowledgeable and explains the procedure in detail. The staff is well dressed, clean and nice. I haven't had anything done besides consultation and MRI. I will rate it and add more feedback after procedure or the progress towards getting it done
