Foundations Montessori Academy of Frisco

I highly recommend Ms Nona and Foundations Montessori Academy. Ms Nona is an amazing woman. The school she has created offers personal attention, a small, home-based feel and complete dedication to the education and well being of each of her students. She is loyal to the Montessori teaching method and uses it to inspire a love of learning. My son is easily frustrated when he is not immediately successful at something and I watched his confidence soar in her care. Both of my children attended school there and their kindergarten teachers were so impressed with how prepared they were, both socially and educationally. We are forever grateful for the educational foundation Ms Nona built for our kids. They still ask to go see her which is at testament in itself. You will not find a more personal approach to childcare anywhere else in Frisco.

This school has the most amazing director in the world. She is patient, kind, warm and also challenges the kiddos in a fun way. I would give her 10 stars if I could. I feel confident that our kiddo will be well prepared for kindergarten.

This Montessori Academy is fabulous!! Miss Nona has been a loving, professional care giver/teacher for both of my granddaughters! The youngest is currently in her second year there. If you are looking for a place for your youngster that puts the emphasis on early childhood learning experiences that are child-centered, personally designed for your child's learning style and abilities, an environment that is always loving and supportive....this is the place for your child. For anyone seeking something other than larger daycare facilities, the small class size and individual attention to your child's needs makes Foundations Montessori Academy a place to check out!

Both of my sons have attended this preschool, and I could not be more grateful for Miss Nona. She is very focused on making sure they are strong readers and writers, in addition to having strong foundational mathematics skills. I have been blown away by what my kiddos have learned at such an early age. My oldest has started Kindergarten ahead of where most their lesson plans start. I spent so much time trying to find a good preschool in Frisco that didn't feel like it was just another daycare center, and when I walked in to Miss Nona's I knew it was the place for our family. She also has an impeccable record with the state. I feel so fortunate that we have her in our lives.

Both of my children have attended FMAF for preschool. The love and care they receive at this school is unmatched by any typical daycare center. The low student to teacher ratio means that your child's individual needs are actually being met. The children also get sick less because less kids equals less germs! My older daughter was more than ready for kindergarten and I have no doubt my 3 year old will be as well. The place is a second home to our family and we consider ourselves blessed to have found it.
