Ernesto's Fine Mexican Food

Right after enjoying the Tulips at Texas Tulip, we were so hungry and lucky we found this place. Food is amazing, service is great and along with the chips, it comes with 4 salsa condiment. Awesome. Also I had my best flan ever too.

The food as always great! The host greeted us with a big smile and welcoming enthusiasm, but the waiter staff seemed disoriented in the heat of the rush, and there seems to be poor communication between them as well, however the staff dedicated to refill your chip and salsa were always on point and super nice, overall I think they might just have new employees or something...
Regardless the food was amazing and is was an enjoyable enough experience

For the order, we had:
1) Fajitas for Two
2) Salsa and Chips
3) Chili Con Queso with Brisket
4) Frozen Margaritas

The Food - 5 Stars:
The fajitas were seasoned really well and had plenty of tortillas. The variety of salsa was great! Oh, and the margaritas were amazing!

The Service - 3 Stars:
Service was attentive (though nothing outstanding), especially compared to other reviewers. We had refills of drinks and chips promptly and food was delivered quick.

The Price - 2 Stars:
In general, a little on the high but you do get a lot of food for the price. For example, Fajita for Two was $32.

The Vibes - 4 Stars:
The restaurant is the quintessential Tex-Mex with spacious booths and wonderfully decorated.

Overall, rounding up to 4 stars. Anyone visiting the local State Park down the street should stop in after a hike and get some grub.

Best spot to eat in pilot point hands down. Truly authentic Mexican food sometimes it's quiet and Serene on Sundays it's really busy. Wait staff is awesome and on point with your orders and checking up on you. I couldn't wait to go back out to pilot point when I was working just to come there to eat again! I wish this place was in Denton I would go like everyday lol I enjoyed the tacos Al carbon and that's just because I'm white and like the flower tortillas LOL hopefully I'll be working there next weekend and get to go again. One day I'll get to bring my wife so she'll get to experience how good it is

Nice and very big place. Fresh food.free starter chips 😂😂. If you come to visit the parks nearby, this one is the rearest restaurant and i loved it. But they need to clean their spoons and other thing. Otherwise it will get 5 starys
