Great Trail with nice View of Lewisville Lake. We saw some Deer, Racoon & Bobcats too though !! It has a Nice Playground near Parking.

Nice gravel trail for running and gravel bikes. Loved the air pump and tools in the parking lot. The marsh views are really cool. We saw a lot of birds including blue jays, sparrows, hawks, cardinals, egrets, and mockingbirds.

The only reason I didn’t give five stars is due to the massive amounts of dog feces on the edge of the trail. Yuck.

We continue to enjoy the many trails in the area and the Colony Shoreline Trail is one we liked a lot. We walked about 5 miles. Saw some birds near the Scout park area The trail was gravel and was not too crowded. We were able to see the lake for most of the trail. Someone else had posted on the dog poop on the path and this was true so do look down when you walk, which is a shame since the view is much more interesting to look at.
