Lake Dallas Point Restaurant & Sportsbar

Address: 303 Swisher Rd Ste 100, Lake Dallas, TX 75065, USA

Restaurant

“This is our go to place for reasonably priced food and drinks. The food is surprisingly good for a bar. The nachos are some of my favorite, gyros are great, and the Cobb salad is a regular item for us. Beer selection and better mixed drinks (old fashioneds, mules, etc) could improve the vibe a bit. The waitresses are some of our favorite at any bar. Very sweet and hard working.”

Shaka Hawaiian BBQ

Address: 5733 State Hwy 121 Suite #290, The Colony, TX 75056, USA

Restaurant

“Luv luv luv this place! By far the best Hawaiian food I’ve ever tried. Food is always fresh and flavorful, they are also so generous with portions! If you’re someone who doesn’t eat much, this is easily two meals or very shareable! It’s also so nice that they let you change out the sides to get more of something else (ex: no veggies, extra rice). I’ve been going here since they’ve opened and I’m really happy they seem to be getting steady business. It’s my biggest fear this place will close, it deserves all the luv and it’s definitely worthy a try if you’re in the area! Please note that although this place has a drive-thru, ITS NOT FAST FOOD! It takes them about 15-20m to cook your food and this place seems family owned so it’s a small staff! Be patient with them, you can also order ahead if you don’t want to wait too long. But trust, it’s definitely worth the wait ◡̈ In the pictures: - Chicken Katsu w/ No veggies, extra Mac - Chicken musubi (Came with 2 teriyaki sauces and 1 Katsu Sauce)”

Jason's Deli

Address: 2219 Hwy 288 S Loop Suite 114, Denton, TX 76205, USA

Restaurant

“I’ve always enjoyed Jason’s Deli. I started eating there in Fl, then Chicago and now here in Texas. This location was clean, the food was good. The service was friendly. I’m not sure if the owner was there (assuming this is a franchise) or if it was the manager but there was an older man there and he was steadily working and giving instructions to the young people that work there. His attention to detail shows. We will be back.”

Woody's Bar & Kitchen

Address: 307 Main St #105, Frisco, TX 75036, USA

Restaurant

“I love this place! The atmosphere (arguably the most important part of a sports bar) is amazing. We came here for the football game and they had an insane amount of screens! The DJ adds a lot and the service is great. The food in general is good. The wings are great, they take a while to make, but they are super flavorful and crispy. The sauces are awesome, I had the garlic parmesan and the Woody's special sauce. The garlic parmesan has a strong butter taste and a nice herby-garlic bite. The Woody's special sauce had a bit of a BBQ sauce taste, but it's clear that they put extra stuff in there. My favorite part about the Woody's sauce is the char on them. I also had the chicken sandwich. It was super crispy! The sandwich had toasted brioche buns, which added a lot to the texture. The fries are alright, they were the only thing that wasn't perfect. The flavor was there, as always, but they weren't very crispy. Overall, 9/10 experience. Will be coming back soon!”

“Bar tender, waitress, manager who was dancing back and forth from customer to customer was awesome!! Small bar, menu but the food was good. I had breakfast tacos and the egg white burrito that she kept raving about. The Chicago style dogs are supposed to be really good too.”

Roman's Pizza

Address: 3001 N Elm St #200, Denton, TX 76207, USA

Meal delivery Restaurant

“It is a local pizza store, ran independently by Anvari family. They are very friendly and nice people, greeted well and helped with the menu and made sure how I like the pizza to be made. Pizza was great, tasted good, the crust was good too, but pizza can definitely use little more sauce to it. My actual rating is 3.5, if the crust is little more of flavors and use little sauce to the pizza, it would be great.”

Clink Wine Bar + Bites

Address: 2601 Lakeside Pkwy #100, Flower Mound, TX 75022, USA

Restaurant Store

“The Cruncleton Ton sounds like a fantastic place with a beautiful and colorful ambiance. The blue-themed restaurant and bar, along with its wine collection, add to the experience. It's great to hear that dishes like the nutty goat, strawberry salad, shrimp tacos, flatbread, and cauliflower bites were delicious. The excellent service and outdoor seating further enhance the overall atmosphere in a prime location.”

Valerie's Taco Shop

“This is just up the road from our house so it’s super convenient. It’s family owned and the food is really good. I usually get the carne asada chips but the tacos are really good too. The chicken was a bit dry in the tacos, but their salsa topped it off well. Would I return? Yep! Already have.”

Sweet Basil Thai Bistro

Address: 1800 S Loop 288 #224, Denton, TX 76205, USA

Restaurant

“Perfect! A Thai restaurant that is close enough for me to travel to on a regular basis. There is plenty of parking because this is located at Denton Crossing outlet; that being said, there is also handicap parking available. Our waitress sat us down immediately at our table upon entering the restaurant. She provided great service at our table, taking great care to make sure that our orders were right. We ordered the Thai tea, and our waitress made sure that we had water to go along with our tea. She also checked up on us regularly throughout the meal. The rice was cooked just the way we like it. The appetizer we had was the chicken satay, which is chicken on a skewer with a peanut sauce to dip the chicken into. The chicken was thinly sliced and had an orange/red tint to it. My wife had the house cashew chicken. She gave me a bite of her house cashew chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. She ordered it with medium heat. I had the red curry with beef, and it came out in a good-sized bowl, which means it was a good-sized portion. The atmosphere was wonderful, it is a small area and quaint. It is not overly decorated like some restaurants are. The restaurant was very clean and tidy. The restrooms were clean. These owners show to take pride in everything they do within this restaurant. I can see us frequenting this awesome restaurant a lot in the future.”

Mom's Burgers & Wings

Address: 26615 US-380 Ste 170, Providence Village, TX 76227, USA

Restaurant

“oms Burgers and Wings Review I recently had the opportunity to try Mom's Burgers and Wings, a small restaurant located in Aubrey, Texas. I had heard good things about the burgers, so I was excited to give them a try. I ordered the jalapeño burger combo, which came with a large burger, potato wedges, and a drink. The burger was cooked to perfection and the jalapeños added a nice kick of heat. The potato wedges were also very good, they were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The restaurant itself was clean and well-maintained, but it was empty when I arrived. I'm not sure why, because the food was so good. The staff was also very friendly and welcoming. One thing that I would like to see improved is the ability to build my own burger. Mom's has a wide variety of toppings to choose from, but they don't allow you to customize your burger. I would have liked to be able to choose my own bun, cheese, and toppings. The price for the burger combo was a bit high, but it was worth it for the quality of the food. I would definitely go back to Mom's Burgers and Wings again. Here is a more detailed review of the food and my overall experience: Food: The jalapeño burger was delicious. The patty was juicy and flavorful, and the jalapeños added a nice kick of heat. The bun was also very good, it was soft and slightly sweet. The potato wedges were also very good. They were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. They were also well-seasoned and had a nice flavor. Overall experience: The restaurant was clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, but the price was a bit high. I would definitely go back to Mom's Burgers and Wings again. Recommendations: Allow customers to build their own burgers. Lower the price of the burger combos. Overall, I had a positive experience at Mom's Burgers and Wings. The food was delicious, but the price was a bit high. I would definitely go back again, but I would recommend that the restaurant allow customers to build their own burgers and lower the price of the burger combos.”

Rudy's "Country Store" and Bar-B-Q

Address: 520 I-35E, Denton, TX 76205, USA

Restaurant

“Had no clue what this place was from the highway and was hoping for a novelty store when I stopped. However, pretty much just a BBQ joint. Which well, nothing wrong with that either. Pay by the pound concept and the staff were INCREDIBLY helpful as I was a virgin. They even offered me samples of their best sellers in the protein department! Actually, the customer service and atmosphere was better than the food. It was good, just not fantastic. The lean brisket was way too dry and the moist a bit fatty. Even though it did not look appetizing, the sausage was excellent. I would go back for the sausage but not the brisket. Kinda fun to eat right off wax paper and help yourself to their pickle and onion bar. Plenty of sauces to sample with as well. And the bread comes portioned out in bags! All in all, the price was excellent as well.”

Restaurant

“The service here is very good! My waiter was very kind and helpful. When he brought the tortilla chips, the basket was overflowing with chips even though I was eating by myself. Throughout the meal, he stopped by to check how I was doing. The food is also very good. The enchiladas I had were very flavorful with just the right amount of spice.”

Bella Maca

Address: 1400 N Corinth St, Corinth, TX 76208, USA

Restaurant

“TL;DR - Chef-owned, chef-run with an intriguing Argentinian / Italian fusion cuisine that's expertly executed in an open kitchen. Highly recommended! Bar: We had a table for four on a recent Friday night but started by arriving a bit early for drinks at the bar. The bar has a solid selection of craft beers, cocktails and wine from Italy, Argentina, and Chile. Beers were large, cocktails were all well-made. All were reasonably priced. Appetizers: We ordered the empanadas and the charcuterie board. Unfortunately, my photo of the empanadas only shows half of an empanada. There were 3 and they were great. We ate them quickly. Then we remembered the camera. The charcuterie board was unique in that it contained a very nice portion of expertly cooked steak, cut into pieces for easy sharing. I also was particularly fond of the house-picked vegetables and the sausages. My thought after sharing it was "if I come back, this is could easily be my meal." Mains: I had the short rib. Get the short rib. It was truly one of the best I've ever had anywhere. The only other dish I tasted was the "grandma's ragu" that my wife had. If you like pasta, this is your dish as it was also wonderful. Our guests also greatly enjoyed their shrimp risotto and neopolitan milanese. Desserts: Yes, we also ate dessert. The cheesecake was competently made but was not the New York style that I prefer (and it wasn't listed as such). However, the tres leches cake was a masterwork. When it was brought to the table I thought it was a mistake as it was 3 layers tall. I've never seen a layered tres leches. And I didn't think one was possible due to the liquid content. Well, apparently if you do it just right, it is indeed possible and it's magnificent. I regret they were out of the tiramisu as that plus the tres leches was our first pick. If you've read to here you'll see we had a great time and will surely be back if for no other reason than to taste the tiramisu. In the meantime, go support Bella Maca as Corinth needs this restaurant.”
