“Very spacious restaurant/bar with outdoor seating. The bar is squared and the perfect size. Plenty tap beer choices with a frosty mug...16 or 22 Oz varieties. Ask Ray to mix you one of his famous Tito's Vodka martinis. Two large screens above the bar can be swiveled to accommodate viewers. The menu is solid...appetizers, salads, sandwiches, burgers and house dinner specials and many sides are offered. I recommend the meatloaf and mash w/ brown gravy...a perfect blend of smoke and bacon flavoring..it'll melt in your mouth.”

“So, one day I saw this little spot and noticed they had a nice bar, it is right in my neighborhood. I thought it would be nice to have a happy hour. It is also an African restaurant with some American flair, and I haven’t had African food, so I was happy to try. However, I met and talked with the bartender who ended up being so sweet, her name was Raja! She made me this amazing spicy drink, I had 2 and decided to head out and didn’t eat. The atmosphere was fun and there was a good vibe. On another occasion we weren’t ready to call it a night so we decided to stop in for a drink. This is when we discovered the restaurant crosses over into a lounge/club vibe after dinner hours. They have hookah available a DJ and a great scene. Raja was still there, I apologize if I didn’t spell her name right, also there was a promoter there named Leonard and he was super helpful and sweet. The guy that sells the hookah is also very nice and answered all my crazy flavor questions and then just hooked it up with something he thought I would like, came to check on us and made sure that we had a great experience. We left and my friend returned the following weekend. And again raved about the vibe! Check them out! I didn’t give them 5 stars for the simple fact that service is slow, you have a wait time for most things, but service is good if you are patient. Enjoy the vibe and company while you wait.”

“We had a GREAT experience here. Our server was attentive and kept our drinks full. When we walked in, I saw the bread right away and it looked so good. When they brought it to our table it looked and smelled SO good. And it did not disappoint. Perfectly soft and great taste. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms, calamari, and cheese bread for appetizers. They were all delicious and had great flavor. We got 2 pizzas, cheese and the Italian where you choose 6 toppings. The crust was perfectly thin and delicious. Lasty, ordered the Chocolate Mousse Cake 🤤🤤 it was rich, but not too rich and absolutely delicious!”

The restaurant was extremely clean and my lunch was very simple (just chow mein) but it was delicious & fresh. It's fast food so keep your expectations in check but I was impressed with this location. “As a former vegetarian, and current pescatarian, I've never had the opportunity to try a banh mi sandwich since they generally contain meat. We were near the square today for an Easter egg hunt and my wife suggested one of the food trucks at the event but I've been wanting to check out the Austin Street Truck Stop for a while so we headed there instead. It was a great decision as I was able to get a tofu banh mi sandwich and it was exceptional. I now understand why this sandwich is so popular and The Picked Carrot served me one of the best sandwiches I've ever eaten. I can't recommend them highly enough.”

“I feel their rating should be higher. Authentic Mexican torta, possibly the best I've ever had. The owner is a good guy and explained some menu items to me. Once you order, take a number and find a seat. The torta came out shortly after my horchata. They bring you a red and green salsa, both were tasty (the red is spicier than the green). The staff were cleaning in between customers (tables, floor, doors) which was impressive. Will definitely return to try some other menu items. The giant torta filled me up and pricing was great. “Pretty good. Had a somewhat disappointing experience with Pizza Hut recently and decided to try Domino's. Unfortunately my 3 Domino's pizzas "disappeared" when I went to pick them up (delivery driver accidentally took them maybe?) but they remade them and gave me some chocolate lava cakes. “I'm honestly really amazed with this location. Granted, every time I come here, there seems to be no one in the drive thru (or seemingly the parking lot either besides what I assume are the employee's vehicles). They are pretty fast (sometimes you do have to wait a little) and the food ALWAYS comes out hot. The food is also surprisingly tasty! Not too salty or too oily/greasy as most fast food chains tend to be as well as fairly proportioned. The employees are rather nice as well. To be fair, anyone would dislike working all day and dealing with unruly customers. However, these employees keep a respectable and gentle approach to customers. At the least, they keep a kind tone. It is highly appreciated and very professional. In conclusion, this Jack In The Box is a perfect model for how every fast food location should be. I appreciate their hard work and kindness. This location has officially become one of my go to pick-me-ups.”

“This is a small family farm and still in the making. It was a bit of a drive from denton but it was nice to see something new. I can't wait to try the grass fed beef and even more excited about the balsamic vinegar in this unsuspecting place, see pic below. Lisa the owner was so nice to give me a sample and I know why. It's so yum good and an instant sale. They have cbd and cbg and the likes also. I'll go back to try the farm fresh eggs, which I have yet to have the pleasure and not sure about the milk but it's fresh. If in the area stop and say hi and support local farms.
