“We ordered 3 egg rolls with peanut sauce as an appetizer. Egg rolls were definitely superior to what you get at most places: crisply fried, not at all soggy. They came with a nice, very slightly spiced peanut sauce. For our entree both my wife and I order the mango tilapia, which contained lightly breaded, fried tilapia fillets, with mango and onions on top serves with a side of rice. Presentation was excellent and so was taste. For dessert we split a cup of coconut custard, which was just right, not too sweet, but not bland either. In addition to the above, we received friendly and helpful service from Alicia. Would definitely recommend.”

“Amazing diner right off main street Roanoke. We weren't expecting much but boy were we surprised! Fantastic service and great food. Diner food is 'simple' so it has to be done right; and Dove Creek does it very well. Husband said the chicken fried steak was the best he's ever had and we are major foodies. Don't expect 'gourmet' brunch but if diner food is what you're looking for - check this spot out. Last but not least, the service was really awesome. “This place is incredible! Such a cool concept and neat place. Some of the dishes can get a little pricey considering the portions are for 1 person, but it can still be worth it. My favorite dish is the Spicy Bomb, but beware: it is seriously spicy. It's also the cheapest menu item, so if you order it, I might suggest getting the sauce on the side so you can decide how much or how little to spice it up. Overall, certainly a place worth eating at if you like Hibachi-style food, but don't have time to sit down at a Hibachi restaurant.”

“I tried Snug Cafe for the first time today and was blown away by not only the food but Sandra's friendly demeanor. You can tell that she truly enjoys what she does, and you can taste in her food as well! That 'made with love' taste! I ordered the Ham and Cheddar melt, taco soup, honey cinnamon latte and caramel kisses latte. Everything was so so tasty, but my favorite was her taco soup! “Service was good. We sat outside since weather was so nice last night. The French fries were the best I've had in a long time. They are thick, wide, curly-q fries perfectly browned and crispy! Hubby had the wagyu beef sandwich and he said it was good. I had the grilled chicken salad with vinaigrette. The only two drawbacks is that there is NO mustard available- so bring your own, and the vinaigrette was so tart it was hard to eat. With another dressing, it would have been delicious as the mixture of greens, onions, cheese, and nuts were perfectly proportioned.”

“To start off with. It’s an absolute hole in the wall gem, the service was fast and honestly it felt like we were all a family. The food was absolutely amazing. I had the 8oz burger, the patty was literally cooked to perfection, the bun was really soft and had a great brioche bun taste, and the cheese melted perfectly. The meats taste flavorful and there is a variety of sauces. The Mac & cheese has a definite creamy homemade feel to it. Overall if you are looking for a quick place to grab dinner at a very reasonable price I would suggest fat cow. Owners and staff are very nice. Expect to spend about $7-$10 per person which is an incredible value considering you would spend the same at the fast food joints next door and the food would only be half as good.”

Growing up in Galveston there was a local owned “Homecut Donuts “ and I have never found any like them until today!! Nothing compares and I will be back. Oh and wait!
