“I only walked paved paths, and the changes in elevation and length of the path combined for good exercise. I captured a great view from a lookout and passed multiple fields of flowering plants. This preserve is beautiful and well maintained. I'd like to return to walk the nature paths sometime. Jogging or biking here are also good ideas for those that do either or both. EDIT: I have been here many times since it's the closest of my favorite nature preserves, but I don't love this place anymore and haven't for a while, so I'm rating it 4 stars. My previous paragraph still holds true. The nature paths are nice and would be more enjoyable if the waterways running through the park were high, but nature is to blame for that. There are 3 other nature preserves that I consider significantly more beautiful and challenging in the metro: 1 in southern Dallas and 2 in northwest Fort Worth. Arbor Hills is good in its own right, and it'd be my top recommendation to those that don't want to travel to south Dallas or northwest Fort Worth for a scenic or moderately challenging walk.”

I walked in one big knot. In pain from my head to my toes. In 90 min I walked out standing tall and relaxed. The woman who worked on me was wonderful. “Arrived between 3 and 5 pm at the drive through. Employees were polite, but in a laid back kind of way. No other cars were in the drive through when we arrived. Food was hot, fries and onion rings were fairly fresh. Burgers were fresh and not too sloppy with the sauce. Drinks were good, sweet tea and coke-a-cola were made right. Wait in the drive through was short. Service was good and gets 4 stars and we rate an “A” this time.”

“My experience at Eyes on Westlake is probably the best I've ever had at an optometrist! To start, getting an appointment was very easy. I was able to book my appointment and fill out my new patient forms online. The office itself is gorgeous. When I got there, I was shown a drink menu while I waited for my appointment (!), a first for me. The staff was extremely friendly and explained all of my benefits and costs upfront and directly which I really appreciated. Dr. McPherson was very thorough with her exam and explained all the tests and processes we went through. They have some of the latest technology and all their machines are super cool. I told her that while my contacts didn't make my eyes dry, they were slightly uncomfortable. She gave me 2 trial pairs of contacts with a flatter profile since she observed my eye was a bit flatter. I've been wearing them for 3 days now and they are the most comfortable I've ever worn (and I've been wearing contacts for 8+ years)! Her staff was also extremely generous with their time in choosing glasses with me. Frankly, I've never been to an optometrist with so many frames I liked. Usually there are 1 or 2 that I think are nice, but Eyes on Westlake has an amazing selection. I found so many that it was hard to choose just one! That being said, I never felt rushed and had such a fun time trying on all the frames. All in all, I genuinely can't wait until my next eye exam!”

“My dad finally found a true home at Flower Mound Assisted Living. Given its relatively small size, it feels like a true community (a small-town environment if you will) as opposed to a "facility." This also means that residents and families are able to truly get to know the staff. (You don't have 30 care givers trying to relay messages between shifts.) So the continuity of care is wonderful. They've recently made some significant improvements as well. I love this place, and so does my dad.”
