Keystone Heritage Park and the El Paso Desert Botanical Garden

Had our wedding here in 2014. It is BEAUTIFUL and the rental price for it was very reasonable! Lovely pictures and great scenery for a desert wedding. Lots of great places to take photos and the shady pavilion is perfect for receptions.

Nice quiet place to take a short walk. It’s not very big. It has benches throughout in case you just wanna have some quiet time $2 entrance fee, military and kids $1.

Not a bad place to come visit and get a hike in. It's great that this park is right inside the city and so accessible. The wetlands are unusual and a good reprieve from the typical desert around here. The desert botanical gardens are nice but it feels a bit sun-dried at this point and could use some new signage and some more healthy foliage. The Paraje Primitive Camp display was well done and there's a very neat labyrinth maze that I think kids would enjoy.

This was my first visit but won't be my last. I look forward to visiting in spring and summer. Very nice and well-maintained urban nature park hiding in plain view in El Paso's Upper Valley.
