I WAS LOOKING TO SEE A PODIATRIST ASAP DUE TO MY BIG TOE. IT WAS IN A LOT OF PAIN. TRYING TO GET APPT ASAP. I CALLED THE FOOT INSTITUTE AND SPOKE WITH JUAN, HE WAS AWESOME, GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TRULY CARE THAT I GOT SEEN SAME DAY. HE HELPED ME VERIFY MY INSURANCE WAS ACCEPTED AND CONFIRM I COULD SEE DOCTOR SAME DAY. 2 HOURS LATER, I GOT TO SEE DOCTOR DE LA ROSA, WHO WAS NICE AND ATTENTIVE ABOUT MY PAIN. I WAS ABLE TO GET TREATMENT RIGHT AWAY. THANK YOU!!
I usually go with Dr. Galindo on the Northeast side but so far I have had little to no issues with both foot doctors. Compared to the last foot doctor I went two at a different company which was terrible and didn't listen to my concerns, this facility has taken all my concerns and issues seriously, scanned both my feet and explained to me what is going on, what might happen in the future and ways to manage it. I just wish they would fix some of the infanstructuere around here to make it more presentable. Also, the other doctor at the main one on the west side really needs to listen to his patients instead of rushing through them because that makes people angry. I understand there is such time on a caseload, but he didn't listen to what I said and assumed I was taking medication cream that I refuse to use. I still recommend Dr. Galindo on the northeast as he is younger and still listens to his patients.
I am a retired RN/ Paramedic/ Flight Attendant who has spent 50 years pounding floors...one place or another...
Have been seeing a “ foot surgeon MD” x 2 years for right foot pain...all he wants to do was repetitive cortisone injections or surgery... I have had 23 surgeries on various body parts....no more unless no choice...
Decided to try a different aspect for me...a podiatrist...
I am totally impressed...
Did bilateral xrays of feet...see basically same situation on both feet...no spaces between bones...all mashed together...he also did ultrasound which has never been done..and again showed swelling inside around bones and inflammation...
Also was not aware of extreme calf tightness...
Suggested orthotics for shoes...the hard ..made for you...not Walmart variety.....and calf exercises ....just putting orthotics in non walking shoes felt good..and can tell calf’s are tight as can be..
Am impressed all the way around...the MA’s...all extremely helpful and pleasant..Dr was very cordial..and answered my medical questions...
Think I have found something new to try...hopefully will success...
Absolutely give them a try...
