“Last November my father passed away...but in the year and half prior to his passing, he was going through dialysis at DaVita East. He hated the in clinic dialysis and was always stopping his dialysis treatment early. He choose to get the peritoneal placement for dialysis at home. Dr. Serna and the staff at DaVita East were a tremendous help and excellent support team for him during that last year. My husband and I learned from the nursing staff all we needed to know about hooking my dad up and taking him off the dialysis machine in the comfort of my dad's home. The support we received from Dr. Serna and the staff was immeasurable. We have been in contact with them since my father's passing with supplies (sterile) left over that they can use to train other patients and families with the peritoneal process of dialysis. We highly recommend Dr. Serna and the staff at DaVita East for peritoneal dialysis treatment.”

The environment itself is great, and you never have people looking at you funny like they’re judging you or degrading you. I haven’t been trained personally here but if I’ve ever had a quick simple question on something with a workout, I’ve never been turned away and my question is always answered. The staff and people are friendly and I always see the trainers and their trainees working together and communicating, I’ve never seen an issue. The equipment is great and they’re always bringing new things to the gym to utilize and it’s clean. The smoothies are great, the meal preps are astonishingly amazing!
