“My name is Ruben Meraz and I was diagnosed with diabetes July 2016. EPDA (El Paso Diabetes Association) is a great organization dedicated to helping those individuals that have diabetes and their families as well by providing a wealth of knowledge on all facets of this disease. The classes that EPDA offers are very informative and have been extremely helpful in helping me control my glucose levels. Topics covered in the classes include what actions we can take to control our glucose levels from reading and understanding food labels, exercise, managing stress and making sure we take our prescribed meds as needed - all in an easy to understand detailed level. We also learn the impact of not following our plan to control diabetes by participating in follow-up processes to ensure we are making use of the information provided. I am very thankful for all that I have learned from the EPDA that has made it possible for me to manage my glucose levels. Additionally, participating in the support group meetings as well as completing the EPDA cooking classes and being part of the EPDA Events has given me an understanding of what I am up against and how to overcome it. This is knowledge that I now wish I had when my father and grandfather were diagnosed with diabetes. Thank you again for the education you have provided that has helped me manage this disease.”

“Did not have them work on my vehicle, so this review is strictly about customer service. There was an older couple having a tire repaired when I got there. The tech was very polite and straight forward; did not force them to buy a new tire or try to upsell, he was straight and honest about what was/could be done and when he was asked about putting on the spare instead of buying a new tire, he was very professional and obliged the older man who owned the truck. My car had broken down and I went In to ask about some parts for a quick fix until I could get a replacement, ( they did not sell the part). The young lady behind the desk was very polite and worked with me and the techs to find something that would work. I will be going back in the future to see how their work is, but if their work is anything like their customer service, I have nothing to worry about. 5 Stars.”

“I was really nervous about leaving my stuff in storage while I was selling my house in Chicago and relocating to Raleigh (it's sooo beautiful here!). Extra Attic is great, though. The whole place is locked up and gated with video cameras and kept really clean! Some storage places I looked at were dirty or not at all secured, but this place wasn't, so I put my stuff here. The staff is really helpful and when I moved out, they even helped me donate unwanted stuff to charities!!!”

“Excellent mechanics here. Took my truck in for some ac work to a random shop and was quoted $1,200 so I decided to get a second opinion brought my truck here and they were able to pin point the exact problem instead of trying to replace parts that work perfectly fine. I ended out paying $175. They did an awesome job of explaining exactly what the bad part does and even showed me what was replaced. This is the most honest auto shop I've dealt with in el paso. Definitely recommend!”

“I’ve been here 3 times so far and brought my son after having such a great experience. I don’t know all the technical terms for a haircut with all the fades and hard parts and line ups and such, but after explaining what I wanted with Ashley she gave me the cut that I wanted exactly. The price for a haircut, although high, is right for the time and attention they spend to give you what you want. If you want a good hair cut don’t go cheap and don’t be in a hurry. I’ll be back again and be a regular. Pretty sure next time I go back I can just ask for “the usual” as they take notes of each cut so they remember what they did last.”
