Fabens Inn Motel

We stopped at Fabens for the night on our way back from California the day after Thanksgiving and it was snowing a little further up on our trail so we decided to play it safe and got a room for the night. It was pretty late when we arrived but the front desk was still available we got a room with two beds for 125. They're linens or clean and so comfortable! I wanted to steal the pillows and the comforter seriously lol most comfortable bed I slept on through my whole week trip. The coffee machine Hot sugar and coffee available the pot that was not glass which I appreciated and the bathroom was clean and spacious. There was Wi-Fi and heat which we were grateful for all of it. The woman at the front desk was also very friendly and has a lot of plants like basil and eggplant and peppers growing on her premises which I thought was genius.

Yes, it is an older motel and not in 100% perfect condition. But we had an excellent stay. Coffee pot hair dryer microwave refrigerator nice hot water. And pet friendly. Clean and any strange smell was from the cleaning supplies. I know this because my daughter's house cleaner happens to use the same cleaning supplies. Right across the street from a truck stop and a der wienerschnitzel so there's everything you want.
