FHK is a great place for kids. They genuinely care about the children and they are loving and nurturing. The Pre-K program is wonderful. My 5 year old grandsons love it there. I feel extremely at ease knowing they are being taken care of while I work.

In response to the review to the recent employee's comments. I worked for FHK for over 9 months and we did not EVER notify the teachers when parents were on the way to the class rooms. It was our jobs to make sure we keep our kids taken care of and given what they needed at all times!!!! The hand held radios were their for the use of reaching or directors when we needed them.... As for the yelling that was not tolerated in any of the class rooms, no sure who taught you that but I can assure you they did not work at FHK!! So seeing how you only worked their a week it's not fair for you to write a review on a daycare you know nothing about!!!! Cause surely they are doing something correctly according to state records and parents and the fact they been around for over 5 years!!!!!

I haven't ever been big on doing reviews, but after reading one posted by a disgruntled former employee, I felt I had to.

My daughter will start Kindergarten in a few weeks. She started at FHK when she was 12 weeks old. So, I think that I have FAR MORE insight into this daycare than she does.

Let's review her claims. 1. Yes they have walkies. But only in the afternoons to let teachers know to send the older kids downstairs because their parent are there to pick them up. The classrooms downstairs do not have them. In my 5 1/2 years there, I have NEVER heard them used to alert that there is a parent onsite. There are always parents around anyway. 2. Drinks/snacks. I know this is wrong. I have many friends who have kids there. I visit with some of them in different classes. And they have snacks and drinks as well, and this is LONG after 2:30.

So, please don't listen to a scorned person who is upset over losing their job. This is not the type of person I'd like to watch my child anyway.

    Now, for my review.

I love this daycare. They care for the kids as if they were their own. My son went through 10 daycares during his young age, because I felt they were not good enough. This place, is the best ever. I would never take my daughter out. I drive 20 min, past 5 daycares, to get to FHK. My daughter has grown and flourished here. And you can mention my name to any teacher that has been there for more than a few months, and they will know me. I am there often. I am involved with my child's care.

Both the owner and director are the best you could wish for. I am truly blessed because of having FHK care for my daughter when I have to work.

If you are looking for a place to trust with your most precious gifts, FHK is the place for them.

My boys have been at FHK for a little over a year. I've met just about every teacher and really like everyone there. I've paid more in the past to insure my children are well cared for and not just herded along. These folks have figured out the recipe for a loving environment - it starts with taking care of their staff. If the teachers are happy, the children are happy. Kudos to Ms. Shannon and team for an example of what childcare looks like when people truly care!

Great Daycare. I'm very picky when it comes to daycare. This daycare is wonderfull. I driver an extra 15 minutes to take my son to this day because its that good. Tyler is 4 knows his abc, opposites, colors, numbers. He colors alot. Its a nice christian daycare and the people there are wonderful. If you are looking for a day care in that area you will not regret. My son Tyler loves it. He loves the food, game room, class etc
