Was excited to visit here for my first time...my husband and friends had raised expectations pretty high. Only to be disappointed right at the start to not see the flames over the gate...big let down there...
Or friends are screams veterans and we're reluctant to join us due to the last couple of years with the lines being so long they could not even get into one haunted house.... They told us they were never going back... Which might explain the low attendance last night, obviously it was great for us because we got to go in FOUR haunted houses before 9: 00P.M.... granted we did get there right at opening which seems to be the golden ticket. We notice as it got later.... The lines got longer especially to the castle. So glad we got there right at the opening. Also was glad to see that the vendors took credit cards. Something our friends told us that was not available previously. Plenty of restrooms especially after getting the pee scared out of you...
Overall....we will definitely make this a tradition going forward as long as we have the same experience as we did this year.....If it gets to where our friends said it was, we will discontinue that tradition.
Will be going again next year! Because there are 5 houses I recommend purchasing the fast pass as the lines do get long. Wear comfortable shoes as you will be walking and any shoes you don't mind getting dusty.
First time here (10/30/21) and will return. Recommend buying the fast pass as that saved me and my husband a lot of time waiting. Max time we waited was about 15 minutes at the zombie attraction. A lot of things to do outside of the haunted houses. Good food. Only rated 4 as the hotel attraction was not scary at all. There is some room for some for scare factors there. Other than that worth the trip! Also, the staff was very helpful and everything was very organized.
I love going here. Over the years the actually haunted houses have had their ups and downs, but the overall experience is always fun.
The roaming "actors" are always up for a picture. They wander around scaring folks and just helping to create a good atmosphere.
I've been going here for years and now my kids are old enough to go, so I'll be there every year.
It was fun! I didn't give it the full five stars because half of the park was closed and two of the haunted houses were closed for just a bit. It was pretty fun though. The Clown Maze was the best. I would suggest going there last if you want to save the best for last!
