PLUSES
+ Tons of resources for children
+ Extremely engaged Teaching Staff
+ Solid tenure from Kindergarten teaching staff.
+ YMCA before/after school care on site. Great program!
+ School auctions are neat for kids. We won a bid for a princess mini bus to come to the school and give my daughter an hour of "princess" do up time.
- For some reason - lots of their events and meeting are at 2-4pm...Both my wife and I work, so it is so difficult to participate in anything do to this. It makes us feel like bad parents but we both work 45 miles away and simply cannot make 2pm PTA meeting and 4pm events...
- Is does got a bit overwhelming with all the fundraisers. We always participate in as many as we can. Sometimes I wonder if they prey on the working parent's guilt for not making their 2-4pm event activities so they know we will make up by participating financially in all the fundraisers. Not blaming them at all - they never force us to do anything. Maybe the word "prey" is a bit much but not sure another way to put it.
Overall - love the school and proud that my kids will go there for the next 5+ years! -

(December 8, 2015, 8:59 am)OKE is ran like a well oiled machine. My children love attending the school and as a parent I couldn't hope for a better school, the teachers and administration are all top notch.
