(October 5, 2019, 6:02 pm)This place was delicious!!! We randomly picked this restaurant when we were craving Chinese food, not knowing what to expect. Our kids loved their food, especially the fried shrimp. It was perfectly crispy and so good! My daughter's lol mein was seasoned perfectly. The portions are HUGE, definitely shareable. I cant say enough good things... friendly service, fast service and great food. We will be back for sure!

(September 11, 2019, 9:06 pm)My dad commented how he really liked the inside. We all agreed that their service was amazing. Very sweet staff. We went for dinner and ordered A LOT of food. Loved their peppered shrimp with the jalapeño and their veggie tofu was great too! Seemed a lot of people ordered to go while we were there. And now we know why! I will be coming back for sure.

(August 4, 2019, 6:57 pm)Wanted to try a new Chinese restaurant and decided to stop my Grand Imperial. Not only was the food delicious but the service was excellent!!! Nancy was very welcoming and recommended a great dish. Even my picky little eaters loved it. We will be back!!

(July 1, 2019, 7:17 pm)This is our favorite Chinese restaurant in the US! This is not just because the food is amazing, which it definitely is, -but because of the wonderful service we consistently receive at each and every visit!
The food is all cooked fresh, using high quality ingredients, plated beautifully, with generous portions! Every dish is better than the next! Our favorites are the Mango Chicken in Spicy Garlic Sauce, and the Jalapeño Chicken, but everything they serve is cooked to perfection! There is not a single thing they serve that isn’t top grade, the highest quality, and delicious! It is the only restaurant that our entire family can agree on...and we are a picky eating bunch!
The staff and the management are absolutely wonderful! They are very attentive and cater to your every need! They anticipate drink refills, so you’re never left there trying to flag down waitstaff while your meal gets cold! Special orders and substitutions are always spot on accurate.
If I was forced to find one negative, it would be that Grand Imperial does not have more locations! We would love to be able to access their food wherever we work, vacation or travel!

(May 14, 2019, 10:04 pm)My family loves Chinese food and while we have our go- to restaurants that are located near our home, we are more than willing to drive a little out of the way to find Chinese food that is exceptional. A good example is Grand Imperial Chinese Restaurant in Katy, Texas.
This restaurant is small on the inside, but larger than many other Chinese restaurants, the bulk of which cater more to carry out than dine- in crowds and are thus very small. The lighting is cool and I like the long, communal style table in the middle of the restaurant, perfect for a larger size party of friends or family.
The main reason to select Grand Imperial Chinese Restaurant is the food and what sets it apart is the quality of the ingredients they use. We usually get an assortment of different foods when we go out for Chinese and then share the items. I have had a few different chicken meals here, beef, and pork and found everything delicious. I was actually most impressed with the fried rice. It tasted much fresher and more natural than others, like the rice had just been harvested a few days before,
Grand Imperial serves select healthy options like Broccoli with Bean Curd and vegetarian options such as Vegetable Deluxe. The food is prepared and served with care and guess what?- the prices are actually less than those of other Chinese restaurants in the area. With so much going for it, Grand Imperial Chinese Restaurant is going to become one of my family’s go- to Chinese eateries. A few extra miles of driving are worth it for excellent food that is priced right.
