  Great service, open on Saturdays, some other patient cancelled an appointment and they make it work so I was able to get an appointment the same day. Dr Chappel takes the time to explain everything and also to answer questions, I really liked this place, it will be my the place for my family optical needs from now on

  I had my first visit at Eyecare Redefined last month for a long overdue contact lens exam, and I was not disappointed. The practice has earned their highly-rated Google reviews. Dr. Chappell is highly knowledgeable, personable, and thorough provider. It's clear he values giving each patient consult the time and care they deserve. He was attentive to all my questions as he went over the results of my eye exam in detail, even the questions that were for my own curiosity. He even did a rapid scan of my meibomian glands, the glands that are apparently responsible for secreting the oil that lubricates the eye (from what I understand), showed and explained the results, and recommended I start taking Omega-3 supplements. I really appreciate a provider who respects patient autonomy and involves them in their care choices, rather than talking down to them in a paternalistic way without explaining why. My favorite part, though, was not having to endure the dreaded machine that shoots pressurized air into your eyes. That part sealed the deal.
  
  The office and waiting room itself was clean, comfortable and modern. His front desk attendant was very helpful in picking out my eyeglass frames from their selections for me, and even took the time to check my insurance coverage depending on the type of lens I wanted. I liked the range of styles they had. It felt like there was a little something for everyone. All in all, it was a very pleasant experience, and I would recommend anyone in the Katy-Fulshear area looking for an optometrist to schedule a consultation.

  Love the experience here. Dr. Chappel is very attentive to details and great with our two year old. We definitely plan to come back for eye care.

  I have Keratoconus and I thought I will never be able to have a clear vision anymore until I met Dr. Jantz Chappel. He is amazing as a doctor and human being. You can tell he is very passionate about treating his patients and he’s not only there for the money. I highly recommend seeing him, your eyes will thank you. Also, even if you live far .. make that drive because it will be worth it. From now on, I only trust him with my eyes. Thank you so much!!

  We are new to this neighborhood and were looking for a new place for kids. On the plus side, Dr. Chappel is very knowledgeable and very helpful. The offices are nice, clean and bright.
  
  The only negative to this practice is that 1463 get backed up sometimes and it’s far easier to make a right out of the plaza than a left.
  
  Since it’s near the HEB Plaza, I usually just go right and get groceries done…🤣🤣🤣
