My grandson went with his 4th grade class for a field trip and he absolutely loved it. He couldn't stop talking about all the different things they learned.

Wonderful place for kids to learn how people lived in Texas 150 years ago. The workshops and the Katy Folk Festival that are held here are great for the whole family. I enjoyed every minute.

Great place. They even have a fishing pond where they do fishing workshops for the students.

The Katy ISD Outdoor Learning Center is a great place. This area hosts activities that include field trips for students to learn about the history of Texas, and the Katy Folk Festival which is sort of like a farmers market, but more for kids to learn and participate in activities about the history of Texas. This place is well maintained.

Been here a number of times for school field trips and always have a fun time. They set it up and run it very nicely. I really appreciate how much effort the people teching the kids there put into what they do. They're patient and are good at engaging the kids and getting them involved with each station. Kids really enjoy their time there as well.
