Messina Hof Harvest Green Winery & Kitchen

Excellent winery! I have visited the college station and Fredricksburg location and this most recent added location is awesome! The service was wonderful and the waiter Jonah made the experience memorable and would definitely revisit.

My husband and I had a wonderful time when we went to Messina Hof at Harvest Green last month! All of the staff were welcoming and very knowledgeable about the wine. Lunch was fantastic, and we learned their wine was incorporated into practically every recipe/dish. We were impressed with the large selection of both red and white wine, and ended up doing tastings after lunch. Being new to the area from Virginia, the staff went above and beyond, even talking about the area, additional restaurants to try, and even day trip destinations my husband and I should consider. Rob, Rachel, and Cheryl were fantastic to work with- thank you! We'll be back!

Nice day to sit out on the patio. I found everyone to be friendly and welcoming, from the front desk/bar, waitstaff (Bryan) to the manager on duty who we had several conversations. Bryan was excellent with suggestions and attentiveness. The pizza was very good with such fresh ingredients and because we wanted bubbles, the Sparkling Almond was perfect. Looking forward to my next visit.

High quality food and very fresh ingredients. This is a winery that provides an excellent selection of food to pair with your wine. The food is even infused with some of the wine they offer. Great atmosphere and the staff are very friendly and highly knowledgeable on the wine they offer. The pricing is a bit high but you will not be disappointed with the experience. From simple appetizers, 5 star dishes or even brick oven pizza the restaurant offers an experience with not just the wine but with also the food.

Great Atmosphere, food and awesome wait staff, beware of the Grumpy Old hostess that seats you when waiting. Upon arriving to the restaurant a huge sign says “Wait to be seated” so we waited. The old lady then comes and says “May I help you” we say “We are waiting to be seated” she says “Yes I do that can I help you” I then reference the huge sign and say “ Your sign says wait here to be seated” she goes on a big rant on how great it is that I can follow directions but we remained patient through her rants and eventually was seated. She was obviously looking for a negative reaction but we were only out to enjoy our day. Please be aware of how people are being greeted at the door.
