(August 8, 2015, 5:24 pm)Last Thanksgiving I had family in from out of town and we were looking for something fun to do as a group. We found Potters' Place and arranged for a group "One Time Wheel" class. Jessica (wonderful manager) had clay already centered on our wheels where we arrived! She took us through the throwing process (and rescued a few) until we all had a good size, respectable bowl to glaze or decorate with under-glaze. We came back after they'd been fired, and now each of us have a functional souvenir from our time together. Classes and studio times are also available for those who want to continue to develop their pottery interests. The atmosphere is warm and supportive! There aren't many places in the Houston area that provide what Potters' Place does!
