Best Nuerologist I’ve ever had. Takes the time to figure out what’s wrong from the whole picture. Hasn’t shooed me away like other doctors and has gotten me the help I need! I’ve already recommended him to 2 friends with difficult cases. Big or small, Dr. Popeney does it all.
Very nice and professional doctor and staff. Dr. Popeney listens and makes his decisions based on the patients best interest and needs for treatments.
I was having numbness in my right hand. Dr. Popeney was able to see me on short notice. His office staff was prompt and courteous. I really appreciated Dr. Popeney’s approach to my problem. He was very thorough, ordered an MRI and a nerve exam. He was able to work me back in, soon as the MRI was read. After the MRI, he did the nerve exam at his office. Again, he was thorough and straightforward. His office was very helpful through the whole process. His advice was to try steroids, before going for surgery again.
I have had a number of back issues and have seen three previous neurologists in the Austin area. I have since moved to Houston and needed a new neurologist. I am very happy with Dr. Popeney’s treatment. I would highly recommend him to other prospective patients.
Dr. Popney is an outstanding doctor with great bedside humor. He always explains everything to the very best. I enjoy going each time I visit. He has also been very helpful with the issues I'm dealing with such as hand trimmers and migraines. I am thankful that is there to assist me and is concerned.
Dr. Popeney turned things around for me. I was getting migraines most days, barely functioning. Now I rarely experience a day where I can't fully participate in life. He listens carefully, knows how and when to apply each measure to fight migraine. And his office staff is exceptional - professional, friendly, thorough, responsive.
