  Very happy with this Traditional Karate Center.
  We have been taking classes for the last 4 years now. Sensei Veras and his staff teach at many levels, from beginners to advanced, kids and adults alike. Plus they are really nice people. They work hard to make sure every student has a chance to grow in every class.

  Honest, straightforward, a great place to learn self defense. The reason why I say Sensei Ramon and the other senses are honest is because I have had experience before. When I was in Florida, I used to learn Korean Tae Kwon Do. I even had a 2nd degree black belt there. They were such scammers, the teacher's wife would tell us to pay near a THOUSAND DOLLARS for just one test... near a THOUSAND DOLLARS for the equipment. The quality defense their is... ok... taught forms translated to kata... here at Traditional Karate Center, no scams and no lies, just the truth. I am glad I come here and learn more about Karate. Good quality lessons! I even lost weight, here at Karate center has great exercises. No wonder why many come here. I feel bad though for the lack of space, I find that alright, what matters most is Karate right? That is what students and some adults are there for. As a local guide, come here.

  It's only been 1.5 months since we brought our 5 year old to start classes here. From the onset, it was very clear that we picked the right place for him to learn karate. Each week we are seeing progression. He absolutely loves going to class and the reason is very simple... the instructors. Senseis Cassie, Andre, Nick and Ramon have proven to be kind, patient and fun, while providing a concentration on proper technique. We are so happy that we found this place.

  My daughter, Sarah, has been taking karate classes here for the past three months. Her progress is remarkable. Sarah was born with delays in upper body strength and right leg. We were blessed with a wonderful physical therapist when she was little, who helped get Sarah get up to par. Sarah no longer requires physical therapy, but her muscle strength/endurance still also has been on the lower end. Both my husband and I havr been so impressed by how much stronger Sarah has been since taking karate classes. The positive, encouraging environment at this school also has helped Sarah, who has always been a shy and cautious child, to open up and develop a genuine interest/greater confidence towards physical activities and exercises. We also especially love it how the instructors are strict with a focus on the forms/basics. They make sure students truly have the skills before advancing them to the next level/belt., At the same time, they are gentle, caring and encouraging. Classes are age appropriate and individually tailored towards the needs of each child. Couldn't be happier that we found this karate school. My daughter looks forwards to going to karate every time (we are there three times a week :). Many, many thanks and kudos to a truly wonderful karate school.

  Mother of 2 boys that have been training at the Traditional Karate center for almost 2 years now. I think I have been here long enough to give a honest opinion based on experience. The instructors have been wonderful, there is a clear understanding that the students are there to learn and the attention to detail have been a breath of fresh air. The schedule has been flexible with classes everyday except Friday and Sunday. If your goal as a parent is for your child to learn martial arts the right way then this will be the dojo for you, my time has been well spent.
