“I rarely have time to review businesses online because I am so busy with work and life, but when I moved to Sugar Land, from Temple, TX, the first thing I thought "I am going to have a hard time finding a dry cleaner I can trust". In Temple, TX the company I used was the same all the doctors at the hospital used, so they were very paricular to do an incredible job, which is not something most dry cleaners are known for. However, I found one, after trying a few and not being impressed, not disappointed, I just noticed there was no attention to detail and corners were cut. At Oyster Creek Cleaners, I discovered this was not the case, in fact, they went above and beyond. First, the customer service is incredible and, I am ashamed to say, I am terrible with names but the lovely lady who is always there remembered my name after the first time, a very welcoming feeling. She was very respectable of making sure I understood the costs of dry cleaning each item, which I do respect because sometimes, at least some people, may be surprised about the cost of dry cleaning. For me, cost is no concern, I like nice clothing, and my general weekly wear for work includes Ted Baker and Canali for my suits and shirts, there is more expensive stuff out there, but for weekly wear some would consider this to be "above the normal". Nevertheless, I love looking good because it makes me feel great and I want to drop off my laundry and know they're goiing to treat my clothing the way I would, wth respect and with attention to detail. They delivered. When I went to pick up my laundry the lovely lady informed me there were two shirts which hadn't come back yet. Was I puzzled when I heard this? Sure. But she expained to me that after they launder the shirt and press it they may notice a spot, or some irregularity, and they'll want to do it again, so its perfect and it would likely be there by 5:30 that day, it was around 4pm when I was there, so I opted to come the next day. When I picked up both my white shirts, I almost thought they went out and bought two new white Ted Baker shirts, they looked that good. Finally, when I got home I noticed my jackets and shirts had that paper stuffing in them, which excited me to not end, I was glowing with glee because it means my shirts and jackets would hold their shape! Every cleaner I tried in Sugar Land did not do this, which was a huge disappointment for me, this was just icing on the dry cleaner cake for me because it shows me they understand quality is what customers like me want with our nicer clothing. I heard that Oyster Creek Cleaners was "a little pricey", but I have a problem with these dry cleaners who fight each other over $0.10 "think $1.75 cleaners and $1.95 cleaners" because it is nearly impossible to provide quality service when your profit margins are thin, plain and simple, it is dead basic business logic. Honestly, when I picked up and paid for everything, I didn't flinch at all, it was, maybe, ~15% more than than the lesser quality cleaners. So, if you care about your clothes, want them to not only look good, but come back to you in the shape you dropped them off in, this is the place to take your stuff. This is where you'll find respect for your clothing and a commitment to provide quality service at a respectable price. Iam their customer for life now, I can breath easy knowing I can drop off $9,000 in suits and they'll be respected and returned to me looking great. I am so happy I found this place.”

“This is a smaller Shell station, but is in a very convenient location. It only has 6 pumps that are relatively new, but they have always remained open even during Harvey. The prices are better too compared to the other Shell gas stations in the area.”

“I called and talked with the owner of the shop, he was the nicest guy and gave me the information I needed with another purchase that I didn't even get from his shop. Someone willing to help me like that especially when I did not do business with them shows how good of a character they actually have. Looking forward to visiting his shop to buy some coins. Got a chance to go and visit Jr bouillon in person met the owner and he was the nicest guy you could meet, just a beautiful shop and again Jr was just as nice as he could be. Can't wait to go back in purchase some coins. 3/10/19”

“Dr. Davey is the best dentist I have ever seen. He is patient and takes his time when he is with all of his patients . Kim, his hygienist is very gentle and also takes her time and care when cleaning my teeth. I only recommend Dr. Davey and his team to all my friends and family. I would never go anywhere else. Love the entire staff.”

“This place is a "mo-storic" (healthy mixture of modern & historic), overlooked Sugar Land paradise. Stop by and get to know this park whether you're a local or nomad. You'll be glad you did, as it's one of the lessen known recreational getaways, right in the middle of old & new treasures. One of the oldest treasures is the Imperial Sugar Mill campus, visible across US ALT-90 FWY. The newer treasure is Sugar Land's premier coffee roaster, Blendin Coffee Lab. Found just 5 minutes (walking) East from the park entrance. Highlight: Ample sized playground & swing set attracts leaves in the winter, but come Spring there's more people than grains of sand in the volleyball court. Well, that's obviously impossible. But if you require 1 of the 4 picnic tables (2 under the Pavilion, other 2 uncovered), you best get up before the rest of Sugar Land's newly informed explorers. Park-goers rave about the safety and peacefulness of the simple yet sufficient offerings, however there is one clear downfall. Downfall: If there is a real downfall to this great local treasure trove, it's the Parking Situation. Very limited; see the signature, same named section below for a in-depth explanation. Fact: Stick around long enough on the Northwest side of the park's benches and you'll be surrounded by one of Sugar Lake's duck flocks, who tend to devour worms in the afternoon/early evenings there. Bonus Fact: There are 6 trash cans. Yeah, I know, right? Stellar Performance: The groundskeepers here deserve credit. Always freshly cut grass, and emptied trash cans. All SIX of them! Leaves pile up most weeks, but it makes you feel like you're in the Northeast. Washroom Situation: There is no washroom, thus no situation. Unless you have to "go". In that case, YOU have a situation. Parking Situation: Vehicle Parking here is limited to 6 paralleled parked street spots (1 handicapped). There is a dentist and dry cleaning parking lot across the street, but no guarantee of being towed or not. Luckily that lot is easily visible from any part of the Lonnie Park, if you really feel like running down a ticketing cop. Motorized vehicles are prohibited on the park grounds. Tip: Swing by on a Saturday afternoon. If there's an open parking spot, do your busy brain a favor and stop by and relax for half an hour at the near 4 acre plot of public property. The Loop is a perfect ¼ mile. 500 steps or 5 minute walk. The Figure Eight path is a more interesting stroll at 0.32 miles and 100 more steps or 1 additional minute to the loop. It's my recommendation between the two options. Bottomline: Stroll for a quiet loop around this quaint park and be teased by the rolling sounds of train tracks while peeking through weathered tree branches at the historic Imperial Sugar water tower.”
