  My daughter has been taking multiple classes here for a year. This theater is very well run, and backstage drama is not tolerated. She loves it and has begged to take more classes as she gets older

  I have 2 children performing at Purple Box Theater. We have been attending and participating in the kids' programs there for almost 5 years. They do a great job with engaging the kids, breaking the ice when new kids arrive. These are a quality bunch of kids - not a bad apple among them. The productions start on time, they are well blocked and casted - the lead roles are never played by the same kids from production to production (they share the wealth really well to give everyone an opportunity to shine). The community productions (where both adults and children participate) are top notch. We have also had a birthday party there for our youngest child (our 3rd child, who will begin theater classes at PBT this fall) and the children and their parents who attended were thoroughly impressed by the organization of the party and by our party host and her helpers who were the epitome of professional and fun all tied up in one!

  I love the Purple Box Theater! The teachers are so helpful and kind, and really try to take the time to get to know each and every student on a personal level. I am always looking forward to my classes no matter what. The atmosphere of the studio is very welcoming and everyone treats one another like family. Of course you learn a great deal too. Especially in the musical theater classes I know that in just a couple of shows that people are improving more and more with every rehearsal. If you're looking at this page trying to find the right place for you or your child to take theater at, I can guarantee this is the best one you'll find. I have had too many great memories to count at this theater and im going to continue making more throughout high school as this place will make anyone feel at home.

  This theater offers so many great performing opportunities, as well as broadened my horizons by teaching me various forms of dance. The directors are fair and kind, and everyone gets a chance to be a star! I honestly could not have asked for a better theater experience than this one! I have been a part of this theater for over five years, and over that time I have grown as an actress, singer, and dancer. The students of The Purple Box, including myself, have been able to perform on an actual Broadway Stage in New York City, not once, but twice, with another planned for this summer. This was such a healthy environment for me to grow up in. There was never a sense of competition among the other actors and myself, and we are, and always have been, supportive of each other in every way. Not once did I hear a negative comment, either from the directors or the other performers. The directors provide constructive criticism that builds us up, and helps us become better performers. This theater has become a safe haven. I know that every time I walk in those doors, I am accepted for who I am, and am not judged for being silly. At The Purple Box, you are free to express yourself through performing, and we work hard to put on great shows that are incredible and entertaining.
  
  This is such a great theater to be a part of, and I am incredibly grateful for the experiences and friendships it granted me. 100/5 stars.
