  Had a steak for dinner and it was the best one I've had in a long time without cooking it for myself. The mashed potatoes were the best ever. Love this place. Great music in the evening and great variety of food. You should definitely come here for an evening out.

  Great place stay. Every room has an ocean view and balcony. The rooms are super clean and every staff member that I interacted with was very kind, friendly and knowledgeable.
  This hotel also offers special activities for kids. The pool was very nice for both adults and kids! To top it all off the cost to stay there was very reasonable. We will definitely be back!

  Thank you again Camille for an amazing weekend! You were top notch in all your help, really I don’t know what the hotel would do without your above and beyond customer service! I truly mean it when I say, I couldn’t stand anyone I spoke to, no one was as helpful and diligent as you when it came to my requests! Who tells a “paying” party guest when budget is not an option No No No to everything that is within reason. I would come back only because I know you would get everything taken care of! You need a promotion and a raise! I know for a fact you are a valued asset for this hotel! They should be lucky to have you front and center with their customers! You have the look, the attitude, the accent, the smile and the poise! Great job is an understatement! I will pass this on everywhere! Simply the best!!!!????????????????????????????????????????
  
  Extras: Starbucks, ice cream bar, Blake’s breakfast buffet, The Grotto Italian, 2 gift shops with top name brands, a steakhouse with live band, and let me not forget David, the front desk manager-superb service! When others kept getting my reservation wrong and not following through, he saved the day! Thanks David!

  Nice place. 4 stars only because our suite was pretty dated. We stayed on the top floor in master suite. 2 bedrooms, large living room, nice sized full kitchen with stove oven and full size fridge, 3 outdoor decks, and nice views. The pool downstairs is the place to be. Nice swim up bar too. Price point was reasonable for what we received. Private access to our top floor with separate elevators helped to keep us feeling secure as well. Over all, we would visit again.

  Best place to stay if you visit Galveston. They even have rooms to accommodate people who don't want kids around. They have a huge heated pool and a hot tub outdoor by the pool that actually gets hot enough that you can't stay in for a long period of time. They have a swim up bar. Nice big plush towels for the pool. They rent individual cabanas pool side that you can watch TV and still monitor your kids while they are swimming. They also have a server that comes by to take your food or drink order and bring it to you by the pool. They have some of the nicest gift shops you will ever visit. They also have a beautiful macaw in the lobby that talks to you. He's been around for a very long time. But they put him away at night so you will only see him in the day. I would recommend the San Luis over any other place in Galveston to spend your vacation. You will not be disappointed.
