  The service was very good at the lobby restaurant on this visit. We told the waiter that our daughter had just been inducted in the NJHS and she was very kind. She must have told the manager because he came to the table to tell us that we received a 20% discount. Our kid got chicken strips with fries. We had the chicken salad/tuna salad plate and a chicken wrap with chips. All meals were very good.

  We attended a private party for work that offered private viewings of the sea creatures at the Moody Garden Aquarium. We got to wonder about the the pyramid with adult beverages and appetizers. It was quiet and peaceful. We were allowed to touch the jellyfish at the touch tank. We were served a meal of salmon, steak, and chicken with awesome sides and . The desserts were incredible. They were all catered by the Moody Hotel. Great fun!!!!!

  I come here annually, but have been many times. This time after Harvey I could tell the buildings were being renovated and undergoing various changes. The removal of the butterfly exhibit was very disappointing but some changes were good. Regardless the current state of the facility does not justify the price tag which is about $56 or more. There are still some good things about it though but maybe don't go currently.

  First time visiting. The property is beautiful and open with gardens and walkways. We purchased the “value pass” at $70 per adult. We first saw the aquarium and enjoyed Ed the multiple story fish take, penguins, sea lions and jellyfish. The staff was very knowledgeable. Next we went to the Discovery pyramid and found that Sponge Bob and Teenage Mutant Turtles took over. People with kids sure were having a good time. The 4-D movie was awesome, nothing like safely getting up close and personal with sharks. Lastly, our favorite was the indoor rain forest, we saw kimono dragons, monkeys, birds, fish, reptiles and the list goes one. There were a few attractions that we missed. But that was a lot of money for 5 hours.

This aquarium was great to hang out in, especially on a cold day. It was cool walking around under the sharks and stingrays. The penguins were fun to watch.
