(May 28, 2019, 3:38 pm)Galveston beach was decent. The water is not the cleanest, but I'm pretty sure everyone who goes there is aware of that. Nonetheless, I was able to enjoy this with my out-of-state friends and my dog.

(May 22, 2019, 12:19 pm)Super windy but absolutely had a fantastic 15 yr anniversary here the last couple of days. Babe's Beach is a great place to hunt sea shells. Will definitely be back sometime this summer

(May 9, 2019, 10:50 pm)Nice beach it’s not very crowded at all for a public beach a lot of parking.. $12 to walk out on the pier that’s one bad thing!! It’s not as nice as Panama City in Florida but I still gave it a five out of five simply because it’s a beach and I have my toes in the sand

(March 29, 2019, 7:15 pm)We spent only 2 hours at the beach. We enjoyed it very much. The lifeguard guy was very friendly. He greeted everybody. He told us he usually leaves at 7:30pm. We came after 6pm on a weekday, and the parking was free. Next time, we'd like to spend more time at this beach, or stay overnight at nearby hotel. There are also a lot of restaurants to choose from.
