He’s planning on wearing them on our vacation this coming summer and wants to go back and buy some white pants here to go with them. I also bought a cute summer print dress, an adorable white shoulder tie sundress, white shirt and two white crop pants for myself for our trip and love them. In Texas, we’ll get to wear these a lot throughout the year because of the heat.”

“If you've been to a large beachy souvenir shop with friendly employees, you 'know' this kind of place. As a NW native, I've visited many places like this and you know what? They are just what the coast needs. It's part of the whole beach experience. The historic downtown area has several similar stores in close proximity so it's a good area to park and browse for a couple hours. If you don't find at least a few things you want, you're probably a stick on the mud. You may not 'need' any of it but it's just plain fun. ????”

“Good museum to visit with your family or by yourself. Interactive and facilities are in good condition. I really liked the exhibitions that they have and they explain each thing in a very understandable way. You can go outside to the Derrick and see the tools and equipment. Right in the coast of Galveston and with a view to other offshore platforms. Would go again.”

“Here's what I loved: a fixed gear bike with big fat wheels and a comfy seat. "Pay me when you get back," said the proprietor. And I did, with a big goofy smile on my face. 10 bucks for two bikes. My wife and I had a great time. Probably going back tomorrow to try the electric assist bikes. They look like fun!”

“From 1/2/19 I went to John Boy to get my first tattoo and he did an AMAZING job!!! He took his time and made sure I was 100% happy with the size and placement before he did anything. There was no feeling that he was rushing to get me in and out, he really wanted to make sure I enjoyed the entire process. I would highly recommend him to anyone that is looking for their next tattoo!!! Updated 2/20/19 So I just got my second tattoo from John Boy and it was just as an AMAZING experience this time as last time. The line work is absolutely BEAUTIFUL and I can't wait for more!! Just got my fourth tattoo and just as happy with this one as my first. John boy always does great work and I am very pleased with the end result!!!”

“A cool and funky shop right off the beach. Myself and my wife went to this store to purchase some Juul pods and ended up with a few other things too because of the guy behind the counter. He was really nice and helpful and made good conversation. Gave some good suggestions on some off brand pods while steering us clear of the worse ones. We came back a second time, this time with a different guy who was just as pleasant. A little bit pricey but I think that is to be expected given the location and the products.”
