  This museum was small, but has a lot of interesting things about the Texas Long Horn, and local history. You are first introduced by watching a short film, then lead to a 2nd and 3rd story viewing of memorabilia, history and art. I really enjoyed the visit, and learning about how Texas has is genuine breed of Long Horns that are native to the land, and how a few ranches have preserved this type of cattle.

  It was the Grand opening since the Harvey Flood. Worth knowing the history of your town. Found out a little about the People the streets, parks and cities are named after. PLUS it is next to a very nice waterfront park.

  Great longhorn stuff and cowboy pieces, if you park in there extra parking you are actually in heritage park. The park is nice, not super kid friendly or exciting in museum.
