I have always been curious about the life underwater with desires to explore it for myself. However, until now I have always been fearful that I could not do so safely and within my comfort zone. I can honestly say that I am confident that with the spectacular training that I received at Maximum Scuba with Jeff, I can finally enjoy the beautiful world below the waters surface safely and comfortably. Jeff is so patient and knowledgeable that I never felt uneasy. I truly appreciated his guidance and knowledge along with his enthusiasm with each milestone I made within my lessons. I feel a part of a whole new world, and that I have not only gained my scuba certification, but also new friends. Thank you Jeff and Daniella from the bottom of my heart for all of the encouragement and knowledge that I have earned with your course. I can’t wait to go on my scuba adventure!

Jeff Gordon is the shop owner and super good guy. We were cruising out of Galveston and I left without my dive computer. Messaged Jeff, on a Sunday no less, and he was kind enough to meet me (within 30 minutes) and hooked me up for my trip. Try doing that on Amazon!! Shop local guys. Jeff is super cool, made my cruise and dives awesome, and will definitely think of him for future purchases and dives.

Me and my wife got certified here and we can't recommend this shop highly enough. Jeff and Daniela were awesome and we feel confident about the skills we learned. We were in a small class of 6 people and they were able to work around our schedules to get all the training and dives in before we left for our trip. We will be coming back for our Advanced Open Water certification.

Took the open water class with Jeff and Daniela. It was amazing. They are so caring and awesome teachers. Friendly atmosphere and low pressure. They will walk you through all of the essential knowledge so well that you will feel comfortable to dive as soon as you are done with the course. They teach you what to do when things go wrong and make you practice it so you do not feel uncomfortable when it does. I was lucky enough to have scheduled a trip to Cozumel 2 weeks following the class and incidentally they were going at the same time. We ended up diving with them in Cozumel and they were so patient and made us feel comfortable on our first ocean dives. If you ever had the inclination to try out scuba get certified with them you will not regret it and will be happy you went to them. Also they have a great dive shop and will help you get outfitted in nice affordable equipment. I will be going back for my advanced open water and hopefully dive master.

Jeff and Daniela are fantastic instructors. I signed up for the PADI Open Water certification course. We covered a ton of material all while keeping it interesting. Not an easy feat.. They emphasized the importance of knowing the ins and outs of your equipment. What to do when something fails, how to remedy, and to not panic. I felt super comfortable on my first dive thanks to them. They take their time to make sure you are 100% comfortable before advancing and will spend as much time as needed on any topic you may require. I highly recommend them!
