I have the slightly bigger one-bedroom floor plan, and it is very cozy but roomy. The bathroom is huge! The kitchen is spacious, and there is a lot of natural sunlight entering the unit during the day. :)

Consultation, application, and moving in was a breeze due to Ashleigh. She no longer works there, but the rest of the staff is just as accommodating. Kristi is great! Maintenance responds within 1-3 days and gets the job done well. The office team hosts monthly community events and makes everyone feel like family. They also keep the office open during evenings & weekends, which works well for my schedule.

The location is perfect for my needs. It's close to work, the mall, grocery stores, parks, Kemah, restaurants, etc. Kind of a drive from Galveston, but there's a smaller beach about 20 min away.

CONS: Walls are thin & I can constantly hear my neighbor's crying baby at night; Building is older so be careful with requesting unit pest control.. I learned the ugly way that "pests" emerge as they die..; In-unit washer/dryer are kind of dated, but it beats going to a laundromat/purchasing my own.; Bedrooms don't have light fixtures in the ceiling, which is more so odd than a negative...

Overall, it's a relaxing place to live that offers plenty of amenities like a 24 hr gym, turtle pond (and complimentary turtle feed in their office!), scheduled trash/recycling pick up, and more. I had toured a more modern place in the area with comparable pricing, but I just didn't get the same warm/welcoming feeling that I got from this place. Went with my gut and happy I did!
