Really great service, did a temporary plug until I could finish my trip to Chicago to see the family and then performed the permanent fix when I got back.
Dr. Cone is a great dentist. Always concerned about comfort. He is a joy to talk to. His staff is professional and very friendly. It feels like family when I show up.
We have been going to Dr. Cline for 20 years now. We live in Pearland now, but still drive to see him. He is by far the best dentist I have ever used. His staff is friendly, and he does a good job of being on time. More than that, he cares. A lot. Always remember details about our family, and always asks about them. His approach is always conservative, and he does not recommend services just to make a buck. If there are choices, he will lay them out for you. His office is closed on Fridays, but if you have a emergency, HE calls you back personally, and will arrange to treat you. That kind of service is rare these days. Is he the cheapest? Nope; and he shouldn't be. No need to look any further for a great dentist.
Since I am one of the few on this planet without a Facebook page, my wife Marlene was kind enough to allow me to use her account to describe my experience with Dr. Charles Cline located in League City on highway 518. More than one Dentists in the area has the name Charles Cline so I want to be sure to properly identify "our" Dentist. Yelp was my first choice but he couldn't be clearly identified on that site.
Dr. Cline has been our family dentist since 2003 when we moved to Houston. Our experience with Dr. Cline has always exceeded expectations but my visit today was "special".
For the first time since not being able to afford the alternative while I was in college, I had a tooth extracted. Because of its damage, there was no alternative. During my last experience with extraction, the Dentist broke the tooth at the gum line and 4 long hours later he finished removing the fragments. Needless to say, I faced today's appointment with more than a little apprehension which I explained to Dr. Cline during my preliminary visit preparing for the extraction.
I am confident that considerable effort was required of Dr. Cline but removal of the tooth was totally painless and expedient. Nitrous Oxide gas was used at my request which probably contributed to the near pleasant experience. I am confident that, because of my description of concerns during my first visit, Dr. Cline was thoroughly prepared for the extraction. Since I take blood thinners twice daily, even after discontinuing the medication several days before the procedure, bleeding was a significant concern. On completion of the extraction, Dr. Cline explained that he was packing something into the cavity to enhance clotting.
Bleeding totally stopped within two hours and there is no way anyone could have made the overall experience more pleasant. The outcome of today's appointment was consistent with all past experiences with Dr. Cline for my wife Marlene, our two kids who are now grown and me.
There aren't many service providers in any field who sincerely care about the customer's experience as much as profitability of their business. Every business owner strives to maximize profitability of their office but Dr. Cline always goes the extra mile to ensure that the patient leaves not only pleased with treatment received but impressed by techniques utilized and the genuine concern of the doctor for an overall optimal experience.
Dr,Kline is one of the best Dentist I ever used. I have been using him for over 10 years. The Office, his crew is outstanding. One of the last Doctors who actually cares about his patients. Keep up the great work
Charles W. Cline, D.D.S. Dr. Cline, a graduate of Alvin High School, attended Tulane University on a football scholarship. He then continued his education at the University of Texas School of Dentistry (UTSD) - Houston where he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1981.
