    A great gym and culture with the best equipment you're going to find. I try to get down there anytime I'm staying in south Houston. Crank up some DMX, clang and bang.

    Smart equipment for strength and functionality training. Easy in and out at a good price. No air-conditioning but, I'm trying to drop weight anyway... Lol! Ultimately, I had a great workout!

    Weightlifter's Disneyland. The gym has the some of the best equipment on the market! Not the typical conventional public gym. Each piece of equipment was handed selected and strategically picked out. Go visit the gym and give it a try. You won't regret it! And more likely, you won't want to leave!! =) Also, the owners are very knowledgeable and friendly. You'll love the experience.

    My husband and I went to the grand opening of Texas City Barbell. We were extremely pleased with how clean the gym was and the friendly staff. I never felt like I didn’t belong there. Everyone was so nice and willing to help out when I was confused on how some equipment was properly used. We will come back to Texas City Barbell every single time we are in the area. I highly recommend this place!

    WOW! What an amazing gym! Top notch equipment, clean facility, easy access, and handy parking. More importantly is the knowledge and training available from Abbe and Ryan. Their events are fun and laid back with a terrific group of participants. You can't go wrong at Texas City Barbell.
