They made everyone feel welcome. Their choir is awesome. The guest pastor was Pastor W. D. Yancy, which is the cousin of Pastor C.L. Yancy; he preached a dynamic sermon. It was an awesome & spirit filled service. I can't wait to go back again. ”

Except priests shake hands when I think that spreads germs and is kind of stand offish in a time where there is so little physical affection because everyone is weird about everything. Hugs are important. At the other church all of the little children run up to hug the priest just like there story of Jesus in Bible with the little children... This is how it should be.”

“This church is different. I know many churches that try to make you feel welcome. The Harbor is authentic about wanting to make others feel comfortable. The leaders of the Church (usually most of them) are right outside to greet you between services. They will give you an ear if you take the time to talk. Most members would be willing to give you the shirt off their own backs as well. Also the worship team is highly talented. Some times they will get the whole place singing along (despite most people's desire to not). The head pastor seems to connect very personally with a lot of people, but the great thing is that the speakers they have there are just as high-caliber. If ever one message doesn't reach you, just wait for the next. This is a great place to find a church community. I encourage everyone who may feel the need, for whatever reason, to give this place an honest try.”

“The church staff was very courteous, respectful and helpful in every way possible. They welcomed my son and provided shelter, food shower, clothing etc when we had to evacuate our home. I've attended the church services there a few times and also received warm welcomes. They've helped many people in my subdivision with demolition from Harvey.. They were the hub for providing hot dinners after Harvey for anyone who went there regardless of race and I'm not Caucasian.”
