(March 11, 2018, 10:43 am)One of the cleanest boy scout facilities we've been to, and pretty fun as well. Of course the boys love the bb gun and archery ranges, but the ranch offers bmx bike riding as well as a rock climbing wall. We've never had any luck with the fishing, and we have yet to see anyone take a canoe out on to the ponds there. Rest rooms are clean and the cafeteria on site makes it a little easier to pack light for the weekend.
Campsites themselves feature concrete "pads" for setting up A-frame tents, although no one in our pack utilizes those - everyone brings their own 2 or 4 person tent to build then take down on the grass nearby. -

(October 22, 2017, 5:25 pm)Great place to camp with Boy Scouts. It has clean rest rooms and lot of activities to do. Archery, Paper Rockets launch, B.B. guns... It seems they have water park. We did not get chance to visit. We went during fall time. It’s not far from Houston. If you live in cypress, it’s even closer. They provide decent food. Fried chicken, mashed potatoes and simple salad bar.
