  UPDATE August 1, 2019: Drove out from Houston today to introduce a friend to this lovely place, only to find a "permanently closed" sign on the door and everything off the shelves. So very sad to lose this place after 12 years :(
  
  Ohmygosh, what a fun find!!! This is a fabulous store, with a lovely large space to browse, and some absolutely gorgeous merchandise. I'm more of an embroiderer, and there was less for that particular activity, but if you do crochet or knitting you'll be in HEAVEN. Loved that there were other items on display as well, like local art, and loved the big tables ready for classes! I wish I lived more locally so I could get involved. The owner is great to talk to and will help you with any questions. Recommended!

  This is a yarn-lover's paradise!! WC Mercantile has a vast array of yarn at the local, national, and international level.
  
  Stephanie was SO sweet and we chatted a bit about what they offer and the events that the store takes part in and hosts. She also helped me find what I was looking for and answered all of my questions.
  
  Their selection of Malabrigo yarn is incredible - I am so excited to come back both to shop and for events.
