(March 3, 2020, 3:07 pm)Everytime I come here I am greeted by the manager and the servers are all great. They make sure i have everything I need and are very prompt. The food is outstanding and you can't beat the lunch specials they offer Monday-Friday. I would definitely recommend if you haven't been here already. I try to come twice a week on my days off and if i miss a day and its not too late when i get off then i come after work.

(February 24, 2020, 3:15 pm)Wow. Really good chips and salsa. The enchilada’s were PERFECT. I’m really picky about them. The rice is excellent. And it was very cheap. Just checks off all the boxes for a good place to get Texmex.

So there have been a number of comments about Sely's being better... There's really not much difference. Dad owns this and Son owns Sely's and Son uses Dad's recipes.
The FRIENDLINESS and SERVICE IS different and better at El Queretano. Miguel is one of the friendliest and most aware managers I have ever encountered. Husband and wife team, Isaac and Thomasita, are professional waitpersons, including the fact that they remember your preferences when you return.
PLUS, tea is included in the specials price.
PLUS they don't nickel and dime you for every little thing, like onions on the enchiladas for more than a buck (don't remember exactly), and .45 for a to go box (and you WILL need a to-go box)...it all adds up. Dinner for two can be at LEAST $6.00 cheaper at EQ.
PLUS, for those who imbibe (I don't), they have a full bar, GREAT 2 for 1 happy hour from 3-5PM, and overall very reasonable prices.
Extra bonus points awarded (but I can't select 10 stars): CHICKEN MOLE is on the menu!!!
Footnote: The mashed beans might be better at EQ...I don't remember Sely's, but I did notice they are very pleasantly seasoned here. -
