  This isn't your traditional "marriage counseling" retreat and thank God for that. Sue and Roy are awesome and you'll warm up to them quickly, they are transparent and so relatable. My husband and I were planning on filing for a divorce, after years together and every marital betrayal occurring that you could possibly imagine, we were done. We've been together since 15 and have spent 10 years together battling and fighting each other. This retreat isn't about that, it's about getting down to the root issues and provides tools on how to truly heal, not battle it out or figure out who's right. If you are struggling in your marriage, please attend this. Find God, find yourself and find a new beginning to your marriage here. STAY THE ENTIRE TIME! Even on day 2, I wasn't sure but then day 3 it was all so clear. I truly believe not only has my marriage been saved, but I took a look in the mirror and saw me for the first time.   I highly recommend this retreat. Our marriage was is crisis and we couldn’t see our way out. Weekly counseling wasn’t enough but this intensive weekend was the solution for us. We went there knowing we wanted our marriage restored but admitting we didn’t know where to start. We have used the methods and concepts over and over and still have some homework to complete. Today, our marriage is stronger than ever and we both enjoy the daily acts of kindness we share toward one another. Thank you Roy and Sue for helping us make this Christmas the BEST ever!!!

  Cornerstone's weekend was wonderful! My husband and I had been coasting yet felt a bit stuck in our marriage. During the weekend, we were able to identify areas where we could improve, and we were given time alone to work together on some issues and to draw closer to one another through the sessions' projects. I really appreciated, too, how the leaders wove worship and God-centered focus into the sessions. We are so glad we spent the weekend gleaning wisdom from Roy, Sue, Dr. Bob, and his lovely wife Carolyn. The whole ministry team was professional and genuine in their caring for couples. Thank you all so much!
