(February 9, 2019, 6:08 pm)I broke my arm when I was about 12, (23 now) and Dr. Stafford was my surgeon. I had a compound fracture and my bone came through my skin. He was able to save my growth plate without using pins too. I remember not even being able to move my fingers. My arm healed really well, and to this day I have never experienced any pain or side effects. ????

(November 20, 2018, 10:25 pm)Dr. Stafford was the most caring surgeon I have ever met. By the time I arrived at his office for a consultation I had been in severe pain from a weight lifting injury that pinched my nerve or several nerves in the left upper part of my back, shoulder and neck. Being an athlete my entire life I assumed I would gradually get better. I was dead wrong. I went to the ER three times desperately seeking relief and I do not like taking narcotics, so steroids were injected and then Prednisone for 5 days. Still no relief. No sleep and pain that increased every hour that passed. Dr. Stafford made eye contact with me as I cried in pain the entire time. He kept it real with me. He explained each step I already took and made it clear what the next step should be. I told him my insurance went into affect December 1st and if he could get me to that day, he could do anything he wanted. He suggested a MRI, so I found one for $250 and had it done within a few days. Dr.Stafford later out the plan for me and prescribed me medication I could afford until my insurance kicked in and as I'm literally breaking down in pain he holds my hand and assures me he will do everything he can to help me. I can't tell you how much it meant to me for a Surgeon at his level be so down to earth and genuinely care about how badly I was suffering. I told him how hard it was to be in severe pain today with the opiod epidemic because for people who are honestly hurting and live a healthy lifestyle you get cross-examined no matter what the circumstances. I believe they should take my blood right away and test me for everything, because I would pay it out of my pocket just to prove I am not that person. I hate taking medication, but what are you supposed to do when you can't even function in your daily life at a level 9/10 pain around the clock? I highly recommended Dr. Stafford. I had to pay cash, but he was worth every cent. I'm still in horrible pain, but it is worth it to me to have Dr. Stafford treat me.
