Great place. Friendly people willing to help anyone who comes by. Fun rides and terrific scenery. Definitely recommend.
Very cool place. Trains look great and the ride they take you on is a good distance. I went on one of the public days, where they just take donations. Line wasn't terribly long, and moved quickly. I have two young boys and they really liked it.
They're are bathrooms and they sell some drinks and shirts, etc. The members who run the trains were all pretty nice. One let my oldest son now the horn. Made his day.
Loved the ride and how nice everyone was. Definitely worth the wait today.
Great place to take the kids or any train enthusiast. 3rd Saturday of month from March thru November is open to public for run day.
Beautiful model trains that all kids love. These things are so well built and maintained. Houston did a great job when they built these trains.
They open it up once a month for folks to ride free. Depending on the crowd, it could be 10-30minute wait per ride. The ride itself is ~10min and loops through the woods of the park.
They also have a small model table on the side that folks bring their own trains to play on. I want to return to see the maintenance shed.
