(April 12, 2018, 7:55 pm)One of my favorite Islamic bookstores is the Books 'N Gifts Shoppe, which is located near the Savoy Restaurant on Wilcrest Drive between W. Belfort Avenue and Stancliffe Road. I have been visiting this book shoppe for more than 20 years. As a Christain I have always been made welcome by the family owners of this store. I am usually offered a cup of tea and a chair to sit down on and to simply talk. Over the years I have had many friendly conversations with both the owners and with customers who engage in similar discussion in the pursuit of knowledge. More than this we share something of the ups and downs of life that we all pass through on our journey through life. This is something immensely valuable in this fast-paced world where people rarely have the time to sit down together and discuss the spiritual world and to exchange views on our respective faiths.

My husband and I went to a few other Islamic stores before arriving here, and we were so glad that we waited to come here before making any of our purchases. They were very knowledgeable, gave great suggestions according to what we were looking for, and had really polite and friendly customer service. Most importantly, the prices on the frames we wanted were considerably cheaper than the other places. Highly recommend!
