JSC Saturn V Rocket

  This place is free (the space center costs money, but the Saturn V site is free and has free parking) for anyone who wants to see this legendary rocket. It is almost bigger than you can imagine, and especially mind-blowing when you realize that this massive engineering marvel is only designed to take three people to space. It is on loan from the Smithsonian, so it will not be here forever. This is a perfect free trip for the family, especially visitors to Houston.

  You have to see it to appreciate it. Easily one of the most incredible things I've ever laid my eyes upon. While the restoration of this historic masterpiece has been extremely well-done, the tragedy with this display is the building that houses it. The Saturn V is so big that you can't actually see the whole thing at once because the building it sits in is so small. Hopefully JCS is able to pull off building a better display format one day, but nonetheless, still an absolutely incredible experience.

  Very nice place with children. You can see all the details about moon landing ships and the astraunuts.

  This is the most amazing place in Houston. Every visitor wants to visit this place to remember that once human walked on the surface of the moon.
