  Seiwa market is a nice Japanese grocery store. It is clean and modern, with a nice selection of fresh-made food. The staff was not familiar with some of the items I asked for, which was surprising. I prefer another market in town, but if I'm in the neighborhood it's not a bad choice.

  Fresh foods made and packed in to-go containers, making it convenient for people on the go! I'm so happy to have discovered this place! I have been here twice, and I thought this was by far the most clever idea and concept I have ever encountered. My husband called and asked me if I could grab some lunch for him and my brother, and luckily I was inside this store. I ordered a pork and chicken katsu meal, which was in the refrigerated cooler. Microwave is required to heat your meals.
  
  They enjoyed the meals and had no complaints. I love the variety they offer in the store. So many grocery items, large selections of imported drinks, and they even offer fresh sushi, which I really enjoyed. Handrolls were made and packed nice and neatly, without making the seaweed soggy! GENIUS!
  
  The only thing about this store is how small and clutter it can get with a large crowd. Lines will begin to form in a matter of minutes. Kinda frustrating, however it goes by pretty quickly, and the staff are extremely nice! Can't wait to visit again!

  This is becoming another of my favor places to go for snack and lunch. They have fresh sushi and sashimi made regularly, and there is a counter you can order food. Now, BEST BEST oysters!!

  My favorite Japanese grocery store in Houston! So clean and organized. Fresh raw and prepared seafood.
  
  The fried oysters at the little cafe counter are so fresh! If they have been there a bit, ask nicely and they will re-fry them for you. The staff is pretty nice.

  They have expanded their food options in the mini food court along with their seating. Food is fairly inexpensive and the wait isn't terribly long. Also a great place to get Japanese food and groceries but it's a bit on the pricier side. Highly recommend if you're looking for some quick and simple Japanese food to eat! They have a great variety of food.

(281) 920-1906 I can not recommend Seiwa enough. This is the only Asian grocery store I shop at where it is so clean that (given the right food) I would eat off the floor.
