“Was traveling from Galveston and after one hour stuck in traffic at 11pm( yes Houston traffic is almost non stop) we decided to stay the night but my credit card was maxed out so we had 40 bucks. This place is old but its got character. For just under 40 we got a bed, shower, and a full size fridge in the kitchen. The lady was very nice, considering the area of town, and it was surprisingly quiet. One of the best low budget motels I have stayed at.”

“i use to attend this school, yes it is very strict but they do it for a reason. they really do prepare you to go to college, but they dont really focus on what career the students want. teachers tend to hold your hand throughout high school if you stay till you graduate. over all this school is amazing”

“This is the oldest cemetery within Houston city limits and the resting place of John Harris. He's the dude that founded Harrisburg prior to Houston. When the Allen Bros came from NY they tried to purchase some of his land but didn't like the price so they moved on. Anyway, the cemetery is oddly located within a neighborhood and a train passes literally next to it.”
