(August 6, 2018, 11:35 pm)writing this for any young girls. I was 18 years old and wanted to start on birth control without my parents finding out. Was super nervous going there but other than the protestors the place is amazing. Protestors berated me as I walked into the facility making me question I was “doing the right thing”. Went inside and had to go through metal detector to then check in at the desk. Then, I checked in with another staff member (all very welcoming) and I waited for 10 minutes max (with an appointment). Went into the back got my vitals checked and then the nurse practitioner explained everything a first timer needs to know and gives you a prescription. The only problems I had were getting the prescription to my local pharmacy in which I was able to call and they kindly faxed another prescription. Also, if you want a certain birth control in my case (for acne as well) they might let you choose.

(May 17, 2018, 12:19 am)i really enjoyed my experience! from security staff to the nurses and doctor, everyone was quite nice and attentive. they were really good about getting me a same day appointment, and i got my birth control implant removed with no problem. it was a little scary coming in because they have flyers posted about how to avoid protestors, but did not encounter any during my visit.
