I have been with Dr. Brickman for the past three or four years. He is the best dermatologist i have come across in over 30 years. He never gave up on my psoriasis when i had already given up. He got me on one medicine, didn't help in 3 months, he moved me to another, then another, then another, and kept on moving me till he found me the most suitable one. He is just fantastic and to top it all, SARA, the nurse there has been there since i went there the first time and she like the cherry on top of the cake. She keeps abreast of all developments with insurance and pharmacy and blood reports and what not and always keeps me informed too. Going to this clinic was the best decision i ever made.

I had my first appointment with Dr Brinkman yesterday, July 13, 2020. I have had rosacea for a few years but it was well under control until a few months ago; it exploded. I was seeing a dermatologist at MD Anderson annually for cancer scanning, but with the flair up of the rosacea, that was not a service they were interested in and suggested I get a personal Dermatologist locally. I'm 77 and don't like changing doctors or many other things for that matter. I could not have been more satisfied with switching to Dr Brinkman. He showed no signs of being rushed. He did a complete scanning of my body and was not at all disturbed with all of my questions, including questioning of treatment. As a matter of fact, we ended up with an alternative to his original treatment recommendation which I think we were both very please with. Anyway, he met all of my expectations with reasoning for treatment, competency,
open dialogue and guidance going forward. He made my day.

I had some moles I needed to get rid of. He did a good job explaining things. The process didn't hurt and I healed rather quickly. He's not rude. The man is a straight shooter.....straight to the point. He's going to tell you what's what and not pussyfoot around or sugar coat things. I like that. I rather have a doctor give it to me straight than make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside about an obvious problem I have. I just think too many people are too sensitive.
